Adoption of Carestream’s Vue Cloud Continues to Grow in United States

ROCHESTER, N.Y., Oct. 16—Carestream Health, a global leader in medical imaging systems and healthcare IT solutions, will install its CARESTREAM Clinical Collaboration Platform at Guadalupe Regional Medical Center in Seguin, Texas. Carestream’s Vue Platform will provide a comprehensive enterprise imaging solution to improve efficiencies for image review and collaboration.

The hospital has opted to have their new enterprise imaging solution delivered under Carestream Health’s Vue Cloud Service with affordable monthly charges. This service model allows users to access the workflows, images and reports they need—anytime, anywhere—and collaborate seamlessly for more efficient, effective patient care while Carestream proactively manages the technology.

“Our existing PACS and archiving system were outdated and needed to be replaced so we evaluated offerings from several suppliers. Carestream’s service model allows us to obtain advanced reading, reporting and management capabilities that equip our staff members to deliver the highest level of care,” said Jesse Villarreal, the hospital’s Radiology Director. “This model also gives us much more flexibility and ensures that we will benefit from the newest technology upgrades without any unexpected costs.”

In addition to providing industry-leading PACS and archiving capabilities, the agreement includes advanced visualization, multimedia enhanced reporting, integrated voice recognition, analytics and other features.
