Intelerad launches clinical hub

Intelerad Medical Systems has launched InteleConnect Clinical Hub, which provides access to internal or third-party PACS or DICOM archives, using desktop web browsers, mobile devices or Intelerad’s iOS app.

The hub offers worklists that provide physicians with streamlined views that contain only their patients' images and activity, and it enables radiologists to communicate discrepancies with clinicians' impressions. It also provides critical results management.

InteleConnect Clinical Hub includes a collaboration suite that allows referrers and radiologists to work together. This set of tools allows physicians to grant access and share exams, or deliver multi-level notifications. The system allows emergency room physicians to access patient information, when images are not yet available, and receive real-time updates.

InteleConnect Clinical Hub will be released to market in the first quarter of 2013.
