KLAS releases 2013 awards for software and services

The “2013 Best in KLAS Awards: Software & Services” report has been released by the Orem, Utah-based research firm and includes new leaders, categories, and segments.

The report now features categories for Computer-Assisted Coding, Revenue Cycle-Charge Capture, and Go-Live Support as a response to provider feedback. Two Best in KLAS segments have been added as well: Health Information Exchange (HIE) and Patient Portals.

Winners included Quest Diagnostics ChartMaxx for Document Management and Imaging, Epic Care Everywhere for HIE, Sectra PACS, INFINITT PACS, and Avreo interVIEW for PACS, Epic Radiant, FUJIFILM Synapse RISE, and Avreo interWORKS for Radiology, Rays for Teleradiology, Dolbey Fusion Speech (BES) for Speech Recognition, lifeIMAGE for Image exchange, MRS Inc. MRS7 Reporting for Mammography Information Systems, Elekta MOSAIQ for Oncology, and Dell Services Unified Clinical Archive for VNA/Image Archive.
