Konica Minolta Medical Imaging and Shimadzu Medical Systems USA introduce MobileArt Evolution EFX AeroDR-i with 17” touch monitor to simplify operation

Wayne, NJ, March 3, 2015 – Konica Minolta Medical Imaging and Shimadzu Medical Systems USA announced today a new, integrated portable X-ray solution, the MobileArt Evolution EFX AeroDR-i.  This new portable solution is now available with a larger integrated console, and a 17” touch screen monitor. The integrated console mounted system offers a larger viewing area to simplify operation and enhance clinical confidence. A larger console now provides additional space for accessories and storage, along with a detector slot that facilitates bagging and cleaning of the AeroDR panel.  MobileArt Evolution EFX AeroDR-i is a complete portable system from Shimadzu Medical Systems USA.  The Konica Minolta AeroDR Portable Integrated Mount Kit with 17” touch monitor is also available as a retrofit kit to upgrade existing Mobile Art Evolution portable systems further enhancing economic value for existing users.   

The CS-7 portable control station delivers an easy-to-use, common interface on a 17” screen that facilitates easier viewing for more patient-centric workflow and assures outstanding image quality. Three second preview streamlines workflow while the lightweight, cable free operation of the digital portable X-ray solution allows for easy image detector positioning while reducing patient discomfort and stress during portable procedures.

Built by two leaders in X-ray, MobileArt Evolution EFX AeroDR-i and the AeroDR Portable Integrated Mount Kit are reliable even in the most demanding environments. The AeroDR Portable Integrated Mount Kit offers  multiple flat panel detector choices for a variety of uses and purposes, including AeroDR XE HQ and Standard resolution 14x17” size, as well as a smaller 10x12” HQ FPD for pediatric NICU, or dual FPD solutions.
