Merge offers PACS for orthopedic imaging

Merge Healthcare has released an image management and digital templating system for orthopedics called OrthoPACS.

The system features a zero-footprint client viewer, allowing image access from multiple locations. Orthopedic surgeons can plan for a surgery with digital templating, including automated hip templating.

OrthoPACS is being offered in a subscription pricing model, according to Jeff Surges, CEO of Chicago-based Merge Healthcare.
