Novarad Completes Two PACS Installs in Palmetto State Hospitals

American Fork, Utah, July 1, 2013 – Little River Medical Center in Little River, South Carolina and Williamsburg Regional Hospital in Kingstree are the latest hospitals to install Novarad’s NovaPACS. Williamsburg Regional Hospital also installed NovaRIS.

Novarad’s distributor, Novarad South facilitated both contracts.

The community hospitals selected NovaPACS because it is a complete web-based PACS with voice annotation, set sync, MIP/MPR, advanced hanging protocols, point ROI, measuring tools, customizable menus, saved preferences, stat reads and check-out and e-sign capabilities.

An additional factor of the selection was that Novarad offers a full diagnostic suite suite of cardiology; mammography, orthopedic PACS, billing and dashboard radiology technologies that can be added at any time.

“We’re told our affordable pricing model is what first sets us apart when our PACS is evaluated, but it is the system’s robust features, support and extendibility that seal deal after deal,” said Paul Shumway, senior vice president at Novarad. “Our beginnings were focused on providing complete and affordable systems to community hospitals and that vision remains a primary focus for us today.”

Novarad products are consistently top KLAS rated, are easy to use and come with lifetime software and hardware upgrades as part of the contract.
