Philips, NYU ink image management deal

New York University (NYU) Langone Medical Center in New York City has signed a multi-year contract with Philips Healthcare for the installation of its iSite PACS within NYU’s radiology department.

According to the North Andover, Mass-based company, the system will allow clinicians to view images within the medical center or from remote office locations, and retain images for up to three years, with long-term storage managed by image archiving provider, Acuo Technologies.
