Rad AI, a California-based startup focused on using artificial intelligence (AI) to improve radiologist workflows, has announced the launch of its new radiology reporting software, Rad AI Omni Reporting.
According to the company, which first started in 2018, this next-generation software will “move radiology reporting from stagnation to innovation.” Rad AI is previewing Omni Reporting on Sept. 27 and then making the software commercially available throughout the United States at RSNA 2023 in Chicago.
“Being a radiologist-led and radiologist-focused company, we understand the importance of AI solutions that save radiologists time, reduce fatigue and burnout, and radically improve our daily experience,” Jeff Chang, MD, Rad AI’s co-founder and a veteran radiologist, said in a prepared statement.
Rad AI is already home to three AI-powered solutions for radiologists: Rad AI Omni Impressions, which generates automatic radiology report impressions based on imaging results and radiologist-dictated notes; Rad AI Continuity, which ensures follow-up recommendations are communicated and carried out by the necessary team members; and Rad AI Nexus, which builds worklists designed to connect radiologists with the most appropriate exams.
