Rochester hospital taps Carestream for cardiology PACS

Rochester General Health System in Rochester, N.Y., has purchased Carestream’s Vue for Cardiology, a cardiology PACS that will allow integration of cardiology exams with the existing radiology PACS and EMR.

The web-based cardiology PACS offers review of echocardiography, cardiac cath and nuclear cardiology exams from any on-site or remote workstation or on web-enabled devices such as the iPad.

The hospital also plans to use its existing Vue Archive as a centralized repository for cardiology and radiology imaging studies.
