Sectra completes Swedish PACS deployment

Health IT provider Sectra’s PACS solution will be installed into six hospitals in Region Skåne, Sweden, completing the transition to the shared solution already in operation at Malmö University Hospital and Lund University Hospital.

An agreement between the company and Region Skåne was signed in 2008 that would link the hospitals’ radiology operations together, the company said. Hospitals in Ystad, Trelleborg, Ängelholm, Kristianstad, Hässleholm and Helsingborg, all in Region Skåne will be implemented with the PACS, said the Linköping, Sweden-based Sectra.
