3 Tesla MRIs go to Vegas

Nevada Imaging Centers' (NIC) Spring Valley location has installed the first 3 Tesla MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) in Las Vegas. William Orrison, Jr., MD, a neurologist and neuroradiologist at NIC's Sprig Valley location, is partnering with Philips Medical Systems to create programs protocols in the areas of brain and central nervous system diseases, NIC said.
