Agfa receives CR supply contract from Premier

Group purchasing organization (GPO) Premier Inc. has awarded Agfa Healthcare a new three-year, multi-source contract to supply computed radiography (CR) products to the GPO's 1,500 member hospitals.

Agfa values the pact at approximately $35 million per year. The pact covers the company's line of ADC CR hardware, software and service maintenance agreements. Agfa's CR line includes the ADC Compact Plus high capacity multi-plate system; Agfa's two single plate systems, ADC Solo and the entry level ADC Initia.

The Premier contract follows recent awards to Agfa from Premier for dry imagers.
