Agfa scores Amerinet software contract

Amerinet, a healthcare group purchasing organization, has signed an agreement to include Agfa HealthCare in its portfolio of product and service contracts.

Effective through April 30, 2011, the contract will bring increased savings for Amerinet members on Agfa’s Enterprise eHealth Solutions, specifically the Enterprise Clinical Portal (ECP) and Impax Clinical Module. These solutions allow healthcare organizations to centralize access to all disparate clinical information in a single sign-on, single view web-based portal application, the company said.

Agfa HealthCare's Enterprise Clinical Portal is available to hospitals, clinics, emergency services, labs, long-term care, and surgical centers. Agfa HealthCare's Impax Clinical Module enhances radiology and radiology department workflows by providing OneClick access to a summary-view consolidation of disparate clinical and results information.

Due to its small technology footprint design, the highly scalable ECP solution supports multiple data delivery methods, offering fully customizable web, wireless, PDA, tablet and smartphone technologies, according to Agfa.
