AMS nets 21 PACS orders in two months

PACS provider American Medical Sales (AMS) took orders for 21 PACS sites across the United States from its distributor network during July and August.

The Hawthorne, Calif.-based company said the orders consisted of products from both its Midas line of mid-sized PACS solutions and its PACS-in-a-Box products designed for private practices and imaging centers. Also, a number of end-users upgraded to include some of AMS' imaging tools, such as the OsteoGram bone density testing software and TraumaCad orthopedic templating software, according to AMS.
