Carestream lands multi-million dollar PACS contract

Winthrop-University Hospital in Mineola, N.Y. has purchased a seven-year cloud-based RIS/PACS archiving service from Carestream Health.

Part of Rochester, N.Y.-based Carestream’s eHealth Managed Services, the seven-year multi-million dollar contract will allow Winthrop-University Hospital to store its studies in Carestream’s vendor-neutral cloud. According to the health IT company, the contract runs on a per-study charge, with Carestream guaranteeing 99.9 percent uptime.
