Fuji lands two army installs

Fujifilm Medical Systems has added two U.S. Army PACS installs in Korea to its series of recent contracts with military bases in Afghanistan, Germany and Washington State.

The latest round of purchases encompasses the installation of Fuji’s Synapse PACS at the Brian Allgood Army Community Hospital in Seoul and the Osan Air Base, both in Korea. Based in Stamford, Conn., Fuji’s Synapse comes embedded with peer review, critical results reporting and workload assignment tools and a VMware-validated virtualized ESX architecture.
