Amerinet adds more Fuji products to its buy list
Group purchasing organization (GPO) Amerinet Inc. has added Fujifilm Medical Systems USA Inc.'s Synapse PACS to its existing computed radiography (CR) and film contract with Fuji.
Effective through Dec. 31, 2006, Fuji's Synapse image and information management system will be available to more than 1,800 hospitals and 18,000 non-acute care facilities through Amerinet's comprehensive contract portfolio. The addition of Synapse comes three years after the original six-year contract was secured with Amerinet in 2001 and now enables members to purchase Fuji's complete imaging product line.
Amerinet facilities can acquire Synapse PACS, as well as the company's newly released imaging products, including Fuji's XG5000 multi-plate cassette-based digital x-ray device; Velocity-U cassette-less reader designed for upright exams; and the DryPix 7000 dry laser imager for high throughput centralized imaging.
