AMI selects Sectra RIS/PACS

Sectra has completed its RIS installation at Advanced Medical Imaging (AMI).

Sectra RIS with embedded voice recognition and single-desktop integration to the existing Sectra PACS has enabled Silverdale, Wash.-based AMI to develop its scheduling process, improve information access and speed report turnaround, according to the Linköping, Sweden-based provider of web-based IT systems for radiology, mammography and orthopedics.

Sectra also developed bi-directional interfaces from its RIS/PACS tools to AMI's mammography, billing and a local hospital information system.
