Arnot Health to integrate inpatient, outpatient EHRs

Arnot Health in Elmira, N.Y., will provide e-MDs' ambulatory EHR to the 150 providers in its affiliated multi-specialty medical group and will integrate the outpatient EHR with Arnot Ogden Medical Center's QuadraMed CPR (QCPR) acute inpatient system for access to patient information across multiple care settings.

Arnot Ogden Medical Center, a 256-bed tertiary care facility, plans to use its patient portal to facilitate online communication with patients, Reston, Va.-based QuardraMed stated.

The rollout of the e-MDs EHR to Arnot's 150 physicians within their 30 ambulatory care practices is slated to begin in the fall and be completed by next summer, the company added.
