Aurora sets sights on strada in Italy

MRI breast imaging developer Aurora Imaging Technology said that it has introduced a mobile Aurora 1.5-Tesla MRI breast imaging system in Italy. The system is offered by Paramed of Genoa, Italy, and is designed to travel throughout the country, according to the North Andover, Mass.-based Aurora.

To date, the Aurora MRI system has been used by physicians in the cities of Forlì, Padova, Verona, Bari, and Genoa. There is an active plan to add more units to cover wider service areas, Aurora said.
