Aycan creates OsiriX iPad app

Aycan Digitalsysteme GmbH has released an iPad application of video tutorials for the medical imaging post-processing application OsiriX Pro.

The Rochester, N.Y.-based PACS vendor and DICOM paper printing company is a commercial supporter of the OsiriX Project. Aycan said the iPad App can serve as a training resource for beginner to advanced physician users of OsiriX. The 35 video tutorials begin with initial preferences configuration over image viewing and manipulation and cover up through anonymizing and exporting, Aycan specified.

The company also said that most of the app’s tutorials are valid for the free open source version of OsiriX, which is a medical image processing application dedicated to DICOM images.
