California hospital activates Eclipsys EMR

The Methodist Hospital in Arcadia, Calif., has activated integrated modules of Eclipsys’ Sunrise Clinical Manager system, an integrated EMR.

The Atlanta-based company said its Sunrise Clinical Manager's modules, Sunrise Acute Care and Sunrise Emergency Care, are components of Sunrise Enterprise suite of solutions, which exist within the Eclipsys XA architecture, which allows for new implementations or a modular approach to building EMR capabilities.

Methodist Hospital, founded in 1903, is a 460-bed, not-for-profit hospital serving the central San Gabriel Valley. Services provided include comprehensive acute care such as medical, surgical, perinatal, pediatrics, oncology, intensive care (neonatal and adult), and complete cardiovascular services, including open-heart surgery.
