California imaging center deploys Toshiba's Aquilion CT

Huntington Hill Imaging Center in Pasadena, Calif., has installed Toshiba America Medical Systems' Aquilion Premium CT system.

The Aquilion Premium CT system features scanning capabilities that can image up to 8 cm of anatomy with 160 detector rows in as fast as 35 seconds by means of a single-gantry rotation, according to the Tustin, Calif.-based company.

The facility, which is part of the Hill Medical in Southern California, completes 1,000 CT exams monthly, according to Toshiba.
