California IPA selects NextGen software solutions

Monarch HealthCare, an independent practice associations (IPA) and medical groups, has selected NextGen Healthcare Information Systems’ suite of enterprise software solutions to enhance the quality of care its member physicians provide.

The products selected for implementation into member practices include NextGen EMR, NextGen Enterprise Practice Management (EPM) and NextGen Image Control System (ICS), according to the Horsham, Pa.-based company.

In addition to the purchase of NextGen EMR, NextGen EPM and NextGen ICS, the Irvine, Calif-based IPA purchased NextGen CHS to facilitate connectivity with their community hospitals, labs and other ambulatory providers in the network. The solutions will be offered to Monarch’s entire physician base, NextGen said.

Monarch has more than 2,200 independent physicians in private practices providing care to more than 170,000 Orange County, California residents.
