California Medical licenses Zotec Partners

California Medical Business Services (CMBS) of Arcadia, Calif., has licensed the Electronic Billing Center (EBC) and RIS software from Zotec Partners, a software firm providing medical billing services and licensed software to hospital-based physician specialty practices.

“As the business of medicine gets more and more complex, these tools will become extremely important helping produce quality care,” said Mark Isenberg, vice president of business development at the Carmel, Ind.-based Zotec.

Isenberg said that CMBS now also can utilize the EBC Portal, through which patients can make schedule requests online and physicians can check patient status online.

CMBS is a full service medical practice management firm and a subsidiary of The Hill Medical Corporation, a group of 18 physicians providing radiology services at Huntington Memorial Hospital and other facilities.
