Canadian hospital adds order sets

North York General Hospital in Toronto has integrated ZynxOrder from Zynx Health into its EHR system to provide order sets at the point of care.

North York General Hospital, a 400-bed facility affiliated with the University of Toronto, is the first hospital in Canada to implement evidence-based clinical decision support integrated into its computerized provider order entry (CPOE) system, according to Zynx.

The provider released more than 300 evidence-based order sets into the clinical workflow, the Los Angeles-based company said.
