Carestream brings cloud services to hospital in The Netherlands

Nij Smellinghe Hospital in The Netherlands has moved to off-site storage and archiving with Carestream Health’s Vue Cloud Services.

The service, which is now live, will follow the software-as-a-service model, according to Rochester, N.Y.-based Carestream.

Nij Smellinghe, which manages around 85,000 studies a year, has had a partnership with Carestream for more than a decade, and the hospital said the new agreement and pay structure will allow the organization to better plan finances.
