Carestream inks multiple contracts for CR system

Carestream Health has signed contracts for its Kodak Point-of-Care CR-ITX 560 CR platform with eight U.S. healthcare facilities.

The portable CR-ITX 560 features an integrated CR reader/x-ray generator that provides immediate capture and access to medical images. It has broad applications including bedside exams, emergency rooms, trauma units, intensive care facilities and nursing homes.

The following healthcare providers placed orders for Carestream Health’s CR-ITX 560 digital imaging system: Henry Medical Center in Stockbridge, Ga.; Northwest Hospital in Seattle; Pagosa Mountain Hospital in Pagosa Springs, Colo.; Phelps Memorial Hospital in Tarrytown, N.Y.; Swedish Medical Center in Seattle; The Medical Center in Columbus, Ga.; Valley Medical Center in Renton, Wash.; and Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle.
