Dallas hospital installs Allocade patient management software

Medical City Dallas Hospital in Texas is deploying the On-Cue patient management software system from Allocade, a Menlo Park, Calif.-based health IT developer.

Allocade said that On-Cue software utilizes artificial intelligence algorithms to automate patient flow throughout the hospital and create a patient itinerary. The different departments within the Dallas hospital will have a common view of each patient's daily itinerary, which will be adjusted in real-time as variables change throughout the day.

The software installation at Medical City is scheduled to be completed in the fourth quarter this year.
