Detroit physician group deploys NextGen revenue cycle services

Health IT company NextGen Healthcare Information Systems has completed an agreement with Detroit-based Wayne State University Physician Group to deploy NextGen Practice Solutions to provide revenue cycle management services.

Under the agreement, Wayne State University Physician Group's physicians, residents and staff, who receive 670,000 patients annually, will have access to the NextGen Practice Solutions, designed to assist with collections, billing, scheduling and reporting, according to Horsham, Pa.-based NextGen, a wholly owned subsidiary of Quality Systems.
