Detroit physician group integrates data with Orion Health
Wayne State University Physician Group, a Detroit-based nonprofit, multi-specialty physician practice group, has selected Orion Health’s Rhapsody Integration Engine to help create an exchange of clinical and demographic data between hospitals, medical centers and physicians' offices.
Wayne State University Physician Group operates more than 100 medical practices and provides primary and specialty medical services to more than 670,000 patients annually throughout Detroit. The group chose Rhapsody Integration Engine to collect and manage patient data independent of its facility-based information system and EHR, enabling physicians to share complete data throughout their facilities, according to the Santa Monica, Calif.-based Orion.
