Dictaphone sees big success with iChart

Dictaphone has announced that its iChart Managed Services program has done quite well in the first half of this year. Using an ASP model, iChart Managed Services is designed to deliver customers an affordable and accurate transcriptions with quick turn-around. Customers are able to use the software themselves or to outsource the service to a network of the company's partners.

The second quarter brought strong business results for Dictaphone with overall lines invoiced per month surpassing 30 million. The company's monthly invoiced line volume for outsourced services increased by two-fold from the end of 2004. Additionally, the number of billable sites for ichart rose to over 300 in the period ending June 30, 2005.  

Dictaphone also secured a number of new contracts during the first half of 2005 including Adventist Health System, Sarasota Memorial Hospital, and Guthrie Clinic, the company said.
