Digisonics offers CVIS capabilities to existing sites

Image management and reporting company Digisonics has expanded its DigiView image management and structured reporting system for cardiology research offerings at existing implementation sites.

The company installed its DigiView cardiovascular information system (CVIS) at Wilmington, Del. based- Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children. The software will provide data mining and DICOM Gateway capabilities, which will enable the auto-transmission of images from the site’s DICOM compliant image repository, said Digisonics.

Web-based image management and structured reporting system DigiNet Pro has been installed at Libertyville, Ill.-based Lake Heart Specialists and will offer a CVIS with editing capabilities, data mining tools and structured reporting for nearly every cardiology modality remotely, said the Houston-based company.
