ELA Medical places Ovatio CRT

Sorin Group subsidiary ELA Medical, a cardiovascular device developer, reported that it has conducted the first U.S. installation of its Ovatio CRT, a cardiac resynchronization therapy defibrillator.

The 30 cubic centimeter device was placed at the Brotman Medical Center, Culver City, Calif., by Eli Gang, MD, as part of an investigational trial, according to the Denver-based ELA.
