Elekta to deliver Neuromag to Nebraska Medical Center
The Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Neb., plans to install Elekta’s Neuromag, equipment for non-invasive measurement of brain activity using magnetoencephalography (MEG) technology.
The 689-bed academic medical center will receive its new Elekta Neuromag MEG system in the spring/summer of 2008, according to Stockholm, Sweden-based Elekta.
With the MEG system installed, neurosurgeons, neurologists and those in related fields will be able to non-invasively record human brain activity in real time, said Nebraska Medical.
