EMC helps University of Miami transition to EHR

University of Miami Clinical Enterprise Technologies (UMCET) is using the EMC Documentum ApplicationXtender software suite to transition the University of Miami Medical Group to an EHR system.

The University of Miami Medical Group includes more than 800 physicians in a dozen South Florida hospitals.

The Hopkinton, Mass.-based EMC said with its technology, UMCET created a hybrid medical record system to manage both paper and electronic documents and patient records.
