Emergisoft expands Oakwood deal

Emergisoft reported the expansion of its Emergency Department Information System for Oakwood Healthcare System (OHS) in southeast Michigan to include a fifth emergency department (ED) at Oakwood Southshore Medical Center in Trenton, Mich. Emergisoft’s ED information system, EmergisoftED, will provide access to patient information across all five facilities, according to the Dallas-based developer.

Emergisoft’s ED information system is presently installed in four of Oakwood Healthcare System’s facilities; Oakwood Annapolis Hospital, Oakwood Heritage Hospital, Oakwood Hospital & Medical Center, and the Oakwood Healthcare Center — Canton. OHS has also decided to upgrade to the latest Microsoft .Net version of EmergisoftED and implement additional functionality and interfaces within the current facilities where EmergisoftED is presently installed, the company said.
