Four Swissray ddRModulaire systems go to NJ ortho group
Swissray International announced today the installation of four of its ddRModulaire systems in three offices of Princeton Orthopaedic Associates in Princeton, N.J., which has a total of 16 physicians and six physician assistants in a total of 40 exam rooms.
The group made the decision to purchase a DR system because "space limitations at three of our sites made increasing the speed with which patients could be x-rayed a pressing need," said Richard Fleming, MD, president, Princeton Orthopaedic Associates. He continued, "the practice had committed to migrating to an 'all digital' model, and thus the computed radiography system did not fit out needs."
"We also were looking for a company and a product to support specialty Orthopaedic requirements, such as digital templating of joint replacement prostheses," said Fleming. The group was also looking for a system to integrate with MRI and computer-based image archive systems, which the Swissray system is capable of, Fleming added.
