FSS awards five-year pact to R2 Technology

R2 Technology Inc. has been awarded a five-year Federal Supply Schedule (FSS) contract for R2's ImageChecker DM CAD (computer aided detection) system.

The agreement allows access to CAD for the earlier detection of breast cancer to all Veterans Administration and military hospitals, Indian Health organizations and other government-funded healthcare facilities.

According to R2, this is the first and only mammography CAD vendor on the FSS.
