Fuji nets military PACS deal

Fujifilm Medical Systems has deployed its Synapse PACS at the European Regional Medical Command (ERMC).

According to the Stamford, Conn.-based company, the Web-based Synapse PACS will provide the EMRC with communication between its hospital and clinics, a virtualized environment and workflow through the use of Fuji’s CommonView and MultiView technologies.

In addition to sites in Iraq and Afghanistan, 20 ERMC satellite clinics also practice in Germany, Belgium and Italy.
