GE Healthcare inks deal for multi-modality install at Miami Children's Hospital

GE Healthcare announced yesterday a multi-modality RIS/PACS contract with Miami Children's Hospital. The $5.7M contract also includes a Discovery ST PET/CT, along with Centricity RIS and Centricity PACS, four digital radiography Revolution XRD systems and an analog x-ray Proteus XRA room. The equipment is now being installed and is expected to be finalized by the end of 2005.
   
Miami Children's Hospital is a 268-bed facility and the only specialty hospital for children in South Florida.
