GE nets Ohio hospital Centricity install

Marion General Hospital, a 165-bed hospital in Marion, Ohio, has signed a seven-year, remote hosting services agreement for GE Healthcare’s Centricity Enterprise solution.
 
Under the remote-hosting arrangement, Marion will implement a clinical information system while maintaining a technology model with remote services, GE said.

The agreement will also provide workflow solutions aimed for seamless access to health information, expedited clinical information and enhanced tools for clinical decision support. The facility will also install barcode medication administration, multi-disciplinary documentation and pharmacy and orders capabilities.
