GE, Yale ink perioperative agreement
GE Healthcare has announced agreement with Yale University to install its Centricity Perioperative Manager and Anesthesia products at facilities associated with Connecticut-based Yale New Have Hospital (YNHH).
GE's clinical information system integrates data throughout the surgical process from check-in to surgery and recovery, and consists of two elements: surgery and anesthesia manager. The system is built to allow for instant access to test results and other records.
As part the agreement, GE and YNHH will work to continually improve the Centricity periop system on an ongoing basis, GE said.
