Geisinger selects Orion integration engine

Geisinger Health System has chosen Orion Health’s Rhapsody Integration Engine platform to migrate, manage and streamline message exchange among the organization's 200-plus clinical and business systems.

The Orion integration engine will enable Geisinger, a physician-led, Pennsylvania-based healthcare system spanning 42 counties, to participate more fully in Pennsylvania’s Keystone Health Information Exchange, according to the Santa Monica, Calif.-based health IT company. Rhapsody was selected for its monitoring capabilities and integration functionality, Orion added.

Orion Health solutions use standards-based technology to integrate data within facilities and among external partners, the company said.
