Genesis HealthCare selects Orion Health?s Rhapsody for HIS integration

Genesis HealthCare System (GHS) of Southeastern Ohio has selected the Rhapsody Integration Engine from Orion Health to serve as a platform to integrate patient data from multiple hospital information systems (HIS).

The Santa Monica, Calif.-based Orion said the addition of the Rhapsody Integration Engine will allow GHS to accurately and efficiently map data from multiple hospital information systems in multiple locations.

Rhapsody's web-based monitoring systems allow access to system status information, logs, and other data management tools, Orion said.
