Greenway Medical supplies EHR system for Mercy Health Partners

Greenway Medical Technologies, an ambulatory health IT provider, will implement an application service provider (ASP)-hosted EHR system for affiliated physicians and physicians' practices of Mercy Health Partners, a health network in Southwestern Ohio.

Mercy Health staffs approximately 6,000 employees and 2,500 affiliated physicians and volunteers. The health network includes five acute care hospitals, four long-term care centers, a retirement community, two social service agencies, four urgent care centers, health centers, home healthcare, hospice and palliative care programs, fitness centers, and a variety of outreach and ambulatory centers.

The Carrollton, Ga.-based Greenway said its PrimeSuite via an ASP model, which was installed for Mercy Health, will allow the electronic exchange of patient information and the electronic sharing of information amongst the different participants in a patient's care continuum.
