GWU Hospital installs Orthocrat's TraumaCad

George Washington University (GWU) Hospital has purchased TraumaCad, a web-based pre-operative planning and digital templating software solution from Orthocrat.

With the adoption of digital imaging technologies for x-rays, TraumaCad will allow an orthopedic surgeon to perform preoperative planning from any computer, according to the Petach-Tikva, Israel-based company.

TraumaCad will be integrated with the digital imaging systems at the Washington, D.C.-based hospital, allowing orthopedic surgeons and residents to perform pre-surgical planning remotely, Orthocrat said.
