HMS to supply InterMedical with IT infrastructure

Dec. 6 – InterMedical Hospital, a 35-bed acute care facility in Columbia, S.C., has selected Healthcare Management Systems (HMS) to supply a full suite of financial software. HMS is a Nashville, Tenn.-based healthcare company that develops, sells and supports integrated clinical and financial hospital information systems and services.

The hospital said the HMS system will replace its current manual data processing and reporting and will also enable the facility to conduct referral tracking and patient accounting.
