Humana Military nets appointment services contract

Womack Army Medical Center at Fort Bragg, N.C., has awarded Humana Military Healthcare Services a second contract to continue providing patient appointing services.

The new contract, which began April 1, is scheduled to continue through Nov. 30, 2015, and provides appointment scheduling support at Womack for approximately 160,000 eligible Military Health System beneficiaries in the Fort Bragg area, stated Humana Military Healthcare Services, a wholly owned subsidiary of Humana, of Louisville, Ky.

Humana Military has offered patient support services at Womack and associated clinics since 2005. The company also provides appointment services for military treatment facilities in the greater Puget Sound, Wash. and Tidewater, Va. areas.
