IDC wins Chilean government contract

Imaging Dynamics Company (IDC) has been awarded a contract by Chile's Ministry of Health to install 33 digital x-ray units throughout the country.

IDC said the installations include IDC’s new X-Series direct digital x-ray technology, the X1600 digital radiographic system with the new X3C detector, as well as X-Series technology from VMI-Sistemas Medicos, IDC's Latin American OEM partner.

The new units will provide advanced diagnostics to even the most remote regions of the country via an interconnected national medical intranet, according to the Calgary, Alberta-based IDC.
